AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS
We are Canadian Premed ("the Company," "we," "us," "our"), a sole proprietor registered in Ontario, Canada.
We operate the website http://www.canadianpremed.ca (the "Website"), as well as any other related products and services that refer or link to these legal terms (the "Legal Terms") (collectively, the "Services").

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Canadian Premed, concerning your access to and use of the Services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
Supplemental terms and conditions or documents that may be posted on the Services from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Legal Terms at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of these Legal Terms, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Legal Terms to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Legal Terms by your continued use of the Services after the date such revised Legal Terms are posted.
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our Services or accessing our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our Services.
2. Services Provided
2.1. We assist Canadian premedical students with application reviews and interview preparation by connecting you with current medical students, residents and physicians ("Consultants") who assist you with performing application reviews and mock interviews with you. These Consultants act as independent contractors.
2.2. We retain the right to refuse service to you, at our sole discretion.
3. Independent Contractors
3.1. Consultants are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of Canadian Premed.
3.2. We screen Consultants the ensure, to the best of our ability, that they possess the necessary experience to provide you with Services booked through our company and/or company website. However, we are not liable for their individual actions or advice.
3.3. We screen Consultants to ensure that they have, at some point in time, received an acceptance to a Canadian medical school. Having received an acceptance to a Canadian medical school is the only requirement to become a consultant with us. However, at the sole discretion of the Company, Canadian Premed may provide additional training, support and resources to assist them in fulfilling their service obligations.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
4.1. Payment: All payments must be made in full before Services are provided. Pricing details and payment options are listed on the Website and/or on our online checkout page.
4.2. Refunds: Refunds are only available under the following conditions:
A Consultant is unable to fulfill the agreed-upon Services.
4.3. No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued once Services have been booked through our website or if you are dissatisfied with subjective outcomes (e.g., application and/or interview results).
5. Your Obligations
5.1. Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information for all communications and submissions.
5.2. Academic Integrity: You agree not to use our Services for plagiarism or any other academic dishonesty.
5.3. Use of Services: You understand that our Services are advisory and supplementary and that ultimate responsibility for the outcome of your applications and interviews lies with you.
5.4. Deadlines & Restrictions: You agree that you are solely responsible for the knowledge and reasonable application of any deadlines, dates or restrictions that apply to both medical school applicants in general and medical school applicants of the specific school(s) you are applying to. These restrictions include but are not limited to application and/or interview deadlines, word and/or character restrictions, restrictions imposed on written or spoken communication with any medical school(s). You agree to inform us of any deadlines and/or restrictions that may be relevant to your application and/or interview. We assume no liability or responsibility if you fail to inform us of any deadlines and/or restrictions relevant to your application and/or interview.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our Services or Website.
6.2. While we strive to provide accurate and helpful advice, we do not guarantee admission to medical school or any specific outcome. You agree that neither the Company, nor it’s Consultants, nor its staff, nor its advisors are responsible for the outcome of your application and/or interview.
7. Intellectual Property
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics in the Services (collectively, the "Content"), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks").
Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws (and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws) and treaties in Canada and around the world.
All content provided through our Website or Services, including written materials, templates, and resources, is the intellectual property of Canadian Premedical Consulting Services and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and confidentiality. We collect and store data you provide to us which includes, but is not limited to e-mail, text and/or phone communications, draft applications submitted to us by you or by an individual on your behalf. Interview recordings and/or notes made by Consultants with regards to your mock interview performance. These data are used for internal record-keeping and operational purposes only. We periodically perform maintenance on our databases, which may include, but is not limited to the deletion of your data. You may request a copy of your data at any time; provided we have an identifiable copy of your data, this will be provided to you at your written request.
9. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our Services at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the federal laws of Canada.
11. Amendments
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
